The Wayne City Indians basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Woodlawn Cardinals to 29 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sandoval for a Midland Trail contest on Friday, February 10. Wayne City will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 83-32 non-league loss to Dieterich (Dieterich, IL). The Blackhawks record now stands at 2-19.

The Cardinals (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Amandla Charter School (Chicago, IL). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Amandla Charter School ran past Ace Tech (Chicago, IL), 48-46, in a non-league contest.
