Illinois High School Basketball - Payton College Prep crushes Hyde Park
November 28, 2023: Chicago, IL 60637 Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL), 41-9 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Payton College Prep upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Grizzlies host Taft (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a bout on Thursday, November 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Taft won 26-18 in their recent non-league bout against Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Kelly Trojans (Chicago, IL) in a bout, on Friday, December 1. Hyde Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 31-24 non-league win over Juarez (Chicago, IL).
