Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield tops King's Fork
January 31, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), saw Grassfield's basketball squad knock off King's Fork by a count of 49-31.
With the victory, Grassfield upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Oscar Smith won 59-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 3. King's Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 60-30 non-league win over Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA).
