Maryland High School Football - Manchester Valley held off by Winters Mill
October 20, 2023: Manchester, MD 21102 Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD), 10-7 in a league test.
With the triumph, Winters Mill improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Westminster (Westminster, MD) to battle the Owls in a Carroll County test on Friday, October 27. The Owls come into the test with a record of 7-1. Westminster won 21-17 in their recent league test against Liberty (Sykesville, MD)
With the loss, Manchester Valley drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Williamsport (Williamsport, MD) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 27. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-6. Williamsport lost 45-8 in their recent non-league test against Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD)
