Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet West prevails Kankakee
December 7, 2010: Joliet, IL 60435 Joliet West (Joliet, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 55-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Joliet West upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to encounter the Vikings in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue bout on Friday, December 10. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Homewood-Flossmoor won 61-57 in their recent league bout against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
Next up, the Kays encounter the Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) in a SICA - South bout, on Friday, December 10. Kankakee will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Blazing Trojan go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Chicago Vocational (Chicago, IL).
