Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA), 12-6 in a league test.

The Mustangs now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Carondelet for a East Bay test on Tuesday, March 26. Monte Vista will face a Cougars squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-5.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) in a East Bay test, on Tuesday, March 26. California will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Dons come into the test with a 5-3 record after their 23-12 non-league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
