The Washington Warriors basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Moorhead Spuds to 38 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yankton for a AA District 2 contest on Tuesday, December 22.

The Spuds (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Rough Riders enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt ran past Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA), 57-36, in a non-league contest.
