April 29, 2024: South Paris, ME 04281 Oxford Hills Vikings (South Paris, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Fryeburg Raiders (Fryeburg, ME), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Oxford Hills upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME) to battle the Cougars in a Class A North test on Wednesday, May 1. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-2. Mt. Blue won 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Abram (Strong, ME)
With the defeat, Fryeburg falls to 2-3 on the season. The Raiders host Wells (Wells, ME) to battle the Warriors in a Class B South test on Wednesday, May 1. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-4. Wells lost 2-1 in their recent league test against York (York, ME)
