In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), by a final score of 11-10.

With the win, Western upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Panthers host Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN) to battle the Argylls in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20. The Argylls come into the challenge with a record of 14-9. Madison-Grant won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN)
