August 30, 2023: Santa Fe, NM 87505 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) and the visiting Sandia Prep Sundevils (Albuquerque, NM), saw St. Michael's's volleyball squad beat Sandia Prep by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, St. Michael's upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Horsemen host St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Sartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Sartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1. St. Pius X won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM)
The Sundevils now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Hope Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, September 1. Sandia Prep will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
