Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays (Ashland, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mercy Monarchs (Omaha, NE), 54-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ashland-Greenwood upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Louisville (Louisville, NE) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Louisville won 41-32 in their recent non-league bout against Arlington (Arlington, NE)
