Medford Tech Jaguars (Medford, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NJ), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clayton for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Medford Tech will battle a Clippers squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ). The Clippers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Palmyra falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Burlington City (Burlington, NJ) to battle the Blue Devils in a BCSL - Freedom challenge on Friday, April 19. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Burlington City won 15-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Willingboro (Willingboro, NJ)
