In Thursday's league match, the visiting Montpelier Locomotives basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the Edon Bombers.

In their next game, the Locomotives meet the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a Buckeye Border match, on Saturday, January 7. Montpelier will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record.
