Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fort Wayne Snider for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. Huntington North will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN). The Panthers record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Norwell falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Knights host Bluffton (Bluffton, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Bluffton lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Heritage (Monroeville, IN)
