California High School Basketball - Lincoln nips Piedmont Hills
January 31, 2024: San Jose, CA 95126 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lincoln Lions (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA), saw Lincoln's basketball squad hold off Piedmont Hills by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Lincoln improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Pioneer (San Jose, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West challenge on Friday, February 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Pioneer won 48-35 in their recent league challenge against Westmont (Campbell, CA)
Next up, the Pirates play the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) in a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa West challenge, on Friday, February 2. Piedmont Hills will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 61-45 league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA).
