The Briarwood Christian Lions held off the visiting Alexandria Valley Cubs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parker for a non-league test on Saturday, August 25.

The Valley Cubs (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Guntersville (Guntersville, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Guntersville held off Sparkman (Harvest, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
