In Thursday's league battle, the host South Mecklenburg Sabres volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Olympic Trojans.

The Sabres (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the So Meck 4A battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, Myers Park went down by Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 3-2, in a league battle.
