March 13, 2015: Natchitoches, LA 71457 Natchitoches Central Chiefs (Natchitoches, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA), 15-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Chiefs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Port Barre for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 14. Natchitoches Central will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-8.
With the loss, Buckeye falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Winnfield (Winnfield, LA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 14. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Winnfield lost 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Hill (Hineston, LA)
