Virginia High School Basketball - Washington-Liberty crushes West Springfield
December 27, 2022: Springfield, VA 22152 Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), 74-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Washington-Liberty upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Generals host George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to play the Statesmen in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Statesmen go into the bout with a record of 7-1. George C. Marshall lost 57-53 in their recent non-league bout against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)
Next up, the Spartans play the Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) in a District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. West Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
