The Ryan Raiders basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Braswell Bengals to 64 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Elm for a 5A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 8. Ryan will meet a Lobos team coming off a 92-62 league win over Denton (Denton, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 15-7.

The Bengals (23-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans enter the 5A Region I District 8 contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Northwest ran past The Colony (The Colony, TX), 58-55, in a league contest.
