In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) baseball squad triumphed over the host Miller Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), by a final score of 18-2.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Buccaneers host Montgomery Central (Cunningham, TN) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

With the defeat, Miller falls to 2-4 on the season. The Mavericks travel to North Gwinnett (Suwanee, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 23.
