Idaho High School Basketball - Capital can't hold off Mountain Home

The Mountain Home Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Capital Golden Eagles to 42 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burley for a 4A Great Basin contest on Friday, January 28. Mountain Home will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 34-29 league win over Minico (Rupert, ID). The Bobcats record now stands at 6-9.

The Golden Eagles (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Boise (Boise, ID). The Brave enter the 5A Southern Idaho contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Boise was nudged by Meridian (Meridian, ID), 75-49, in a league contest.
