Massachusetts High School Basketball - Bishop Fenwick can't hold off St. Mary's
January 12, 2022: Peabody, MA 01960 The St. Mary's Spartans basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Bishop Fenwick Crusaders to 64 in the Spartans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral for a Catholic Central - Large contest on Friday, January 14. St. Mary's will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-39 league win over Austin Prep (Reading, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.
The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Beverly (Beverly, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Beverly was nudged by Saugus (Saugus, MA), 35-32, in a non-league contest.
