Missouri High School Basketball - Greenville tops Clearwater
January 26, 2024: Piedmont, MO 63957 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Greenville Bears (Greenville, MO) and the host Clearwater Fightin' Tigers (Piedmont, MO), saw Greenville's basketball squad knock off Clearwater by a tally of 75-63.
With the victory, Greenville improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to East Carter (Ellsinore, MO) to play the Redbirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. East Carter lost 53-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO)
Next up, the Fightin' Tigers play the Southern Reynolds Whippets (Ellington, MO) in a Black River challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Clearwater will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Whippets come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 69-48 non-league loss to Van Buren (Van Buren, MO).
