Arizona High School Basketball - Liberty overwhelms Mountain Ridge
January 13, 2023: Peoria, AZ 85383 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) and the visiting Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), saw Liberty's basketball squad wallop Mountain Ridge by a count of 80-58.
With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Pioneers in a challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.
Next up, the Mountain Lions play the Boulder Creek Jaguars (Anthem, AZ) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Mountain Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 85-82 non-league loss to Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ).
