Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), 5-4 in a league test.

With the win, Bishop Montgomery upgrades its record to 10-13 on the season. The Knights travel to La Salle (Pasadena, CA) to battle the Lancers in a Del Rey test on Monday, May 12. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 14-13. La Salle lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA)

With the defeat, Serra falls to 11-11 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to battle the Swordsmen in a Del Rey test on Monday, May 12. The Swordsmen come into the test with a record of 14-14. St. Paul won 10-4 in their recent league test against Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA)
