Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA), 65-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Staunton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Storm travel to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA) to clash with the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 7. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Spotswood lost 51-44 in their recent non-league bout against Glass (Lynchburg, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) in a Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 7. Rockbridge County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
