Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Centurions (Cypress, CA) and the visiting Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), saw Cypress's basketball squad hold off Peninsula by a count of 51-48.

With the victory, Cypress upgrades its record to 20-9 on the campaign. The Centurions travel to Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, CA) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 19. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 16-11. Vista Murrieta won 60-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Poly (Riverside, CA)
