Georgia High School Softball - Riverdale bounces North Clayton
September 5, 2023: Riverdale, GA 30274 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA) and the visiting North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA), saw Riverdale's softball squad achieve victory over North Clayton by a count of 23-0.
The Raiders now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Starr's Mill for a 4A Region 4 match on Thursday, September 7. Riverdale will face a Panthers squad coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, North Clayton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA) to face the Tigers in a 4A Region 4 match on Thursday, September 14. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-6.
