Ohio High School Basketball - Solon topples Nordonia
February 3, 2015: Solon, OH 44139 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Solon Comets (Solon, OH) basketball squad beat the visiting Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH), by a count of 65-57.
The Comets (6-9) will now prepare for their game against Brush (Lyndhurst, OH). The Arcs enter the Northeast Ohio - River game with a 10-5 record. In their last game, Brush knocked off Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), 58-42, in a non-league game.
With the defeat, Nordonia moves to 5-7 on the year. The Knights host Copley (Copley, OH) to face the Indians in a Suburban game on Friday, February 6. The Indians enter the game with a record of 9-7. Copley won 61-50 in their recent non-league game against Barberton (Barberton, OH)
