The DeMatha Stags nudged the host Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons baseball team by a tally of 11-10 in Saturday's league bout.

The Stags now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a non-league bout on Monday, April 11. DeMatha will face a Crusaders team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-8.

Next, the Falcons face the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) in a Washington Catholic bout, on Monday, April 11. Our Lady of Good Counsel will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 5-6 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD).
