Nebraska High School Basketball - Aquinas fells Twin River
January 8, 2019: David City, NE 68632 Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE), 49-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Aquinas upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Monarchs host Grand Island Central Catholic (Grand Island, NE) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 11. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Grand Island Central Catholic won 46-38 in their recent non-league bout against York (York, NE)
Next up, the Titans play the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 10. Twin River will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 35-34 non-league win over Heartland (Henderson, NE).
