January 7, 2019: Bridgeport, CT 06606 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT) and the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), saw New Canaan's basketball squad overcome Bridgeport Central by a tally of 66-46.
With the victory, New Canaan improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Stamford (Stamford, CT) to confront the Black Knights in a Fairfield County challenge on Thursday, January 10. The Black Knights come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Stamford won 52-49 in their recent league challenge against Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT)
Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 9. Bridgeport Central will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 79-67 league loss to Platt (Meriden, CT).
