Texas High School Basketball - Rowlett prevails John Paul II

December 7, 2012: Plano, TX 75075

Rowlett Eagles (Rowlett, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX), 60-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rowlett upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 8. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Mansfield Timberview won 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Roosevelt Mustangs (Dallas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 11. John Paul II will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 62-60 non-league win over White (Dallas, TX).
