Texas High School Basketball - New Waverly crushes La Grange
December 8, 2022: New Waverly, TX 77358 New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX), 68-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Waverly upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Hargrave (Huffman, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Hargrave lost 67-58 in their recent non-league bout against Madisonville (Madisonville, TX)
Next up, the Leopards clash with the Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. La Grange will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 31-25 non-league win over Giddings (Giddings, TX).
