December 29, 2021: Marion Center, PA 15759 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) and the host Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA), saw Hazleton Area's basketball squad knock off Marion Center by a tally of 50-39.
With the victory, Hazleton Area improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA) to play the Chucks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 30. The Chucks come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Punxsutawney won 71-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Cameron County (Emporium, PA)
Next up, the Stingers play the Cameron County Raiders (Emporium, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. Marion Center will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 71-15 non-league loss to Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA).
