In Saturday's non-league contest, the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Mustangs battle the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 3. Cypress Ranch will attempt to better on its 26-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 22-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).

With the loss, Lake Creek moves to 15-12 on the year. The Lions travel to Dawson (Dawson, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 3. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 6-5. Dawson won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Penelope (Penelope, TX)
