The Boulder City (NV) varsity volleyball team won Wednesday's home conference match against Moapa Valley (Overton, NV) by a score of 3-0.

The Boulder City Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now have a 34-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a 3A Southern - Sunrise League game on Tuesday, October 29. Boulder City will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Cowboys record now stands at 17-9.
The Pirates (13-15) will now prepare for their game against Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV). The Bulls enter the 3A Southern - Sunrise League game with a 15-8 record. In their last game, Sports Leadership & Management gained a win over Clark (Las Vegas, NV), 3-0, in a non-league game.

It’s Dig Pink night here at BCHS raising support for a local family whose mom is battling cancer. Nice turn out for the game.
Big rivalry game vs. Moapa tonight. Just a couple years ago this was the state championship game that BC took in 5 back and forth sets.

I think Prior actually missed that one and the ball went over from the sheer velocity of the swing.

Moapa came to play tonight. Loses the first set but makes BC earn it. Some great rallies and good hustle by both teams.
That was by far the most competitive set BC has had in league play this year. Let’s see how the rest go. Pirates about to start set 2.

The Pirates not letting BC run away with it by any means. Moapa just doesn’t have enough steam to keep up with the Eagles.
Errors letting Moapa stay in this set. That and they are making some nice digs.
Moapa clearly the second best team in the Sunrise League. The only ones to be competitive with the Eagles. Gotta love rivalries.
