The Franklin County Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Henry Patriots to 53 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fleming for a AAA Western Valley contest on Friday, January 9. Franklin County will meet a Colonels team coming off a 57-50 league win over Washington (Danville, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 13-0.

The Patriots (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers come into the AAA Western Valley contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Glass was defeated by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 53-47, in a league contest.
