The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Staples Wreckers to 46 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Monday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Catholic for a Fairfield County contest on Wednesday, February 25. Bridgeport Central will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 62-50 league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-0.

The Wreckers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against McMahon (Norwalk, CT). The Senators enter the Fairfield County contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, McMahon was routed by Greenwich (Greenwich, CT), 62-39, in a league contest.
