The De Soto Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Pinkston Vikings to 43 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Summit for a non-league contest on Friday, December 12. De Soto will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 76-66 non-league win over Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-4.

The Vikings (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carter (Dallas, TX). The Cowboys come into the 4A Region II District 11 contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Carter edged Molina (Dallas, TX), 82-32, in a non-league contest.
