Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hershey can't hold off West Perry
January 9, 2009: Elliottsburg, PA 17024 The West Perry Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Hershey Trojans to 53 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Boiling Springs for a Mid-Penn - Colonial contest on Monday, January 12. West Perry will meet a Bubblers team coming off a 59-46 league win over Susquenita (Duncannon, PA). The Bubblers record now stands at 5-6.
The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Shamrocks come into the Mid-Penn - Keystone contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ), 100-59, in a non-league contest.
