February 23, 2009: Fairfield, CT 06430 The Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) basketball nipped the host Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), 62-59 in Monday's league test.
The Warriors (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings go into the Fairfield County test with a 2-17 record. In their last match, Westhill was nipped by Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 62-50, in a league match.
With the defeat, Warde moves to 2-17 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT) to confront the Cardinals in a Fairfield County match on Wednesday, February 25. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 12-7. Greenwich won 62-39 in their recent league match against McMahon (Norwalk, CT)
