Iowa High School Basketball - Hampton-Dumont ripped by West Fork
January 24, 2009: West Fork, IA The West Fork Warhawks basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs to 31 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warhawks now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Ansgar for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 27. West Fork will meet a Saints team coming off a 64-48 league win over Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Saints record now stands at 8-3.
The Bulldogs (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Algona (Algona, IA). The Bulldogs enter the North Central contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Algona was routed by Forest City (Forest City, IA), 63-53, in a non-league contest.
