California High School Basketball - San Mateo falls to Burlingame
January 30, 2009: Burlingame, CA 94010 The Burlingame Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting San Mateo Bearcats to 41 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillsdale for a Peninsula - Central contest on Wednesday, February 4. Burlingame will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-51 league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 17-4.
The Bearcats (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings enter the Peninsula - Central contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Mills ran past Capuchino (San Bruno, CA), 76-59, in a league contest.
