The Genoa Area Comets basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Swanton Bulldogs to 30 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anthony Wayne for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 5.

The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bryan (Bryan, OH). The Golden Bears enter the Northwest Ohio contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Bryan ran past Delta (Delta, OH), 62-46, in a league contest.
