The Chase Trojans basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Patton Panthers to 59 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rutherfordton-Spindale Central for a 3A/2A Conference 16 contest on Tuesday, January 25. Chase will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 61-47 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-6.

The Panthers (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Cavaliers enter the 3A/2A Conference 16 contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, East Rutherford nudged Rutherfordton-Spindale Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 61-47, in a league contest.
