Pennsylvania High School Football - Burgettstown routed by South Allegheny
September 17, 2010: McKeesport, PA 15133 The Burgettstown Blue Devils football team (Burgettstown, PA), was ripped 39-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA)
The Gladiators (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Eagles come into the WPIAL AA Century challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Keystone Oaks trounced Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA), 48-13, in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Steel Valley for a WPIAL AA Century challenge on Saturday, September 25. Burgettstown will meet a Ironmen team coming off a 31-21 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 2-1.
