The Walton Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Columbus Blue Steel to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Friday.

With the win, Walton upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Unatego (Otego, NY) to face the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, October 5. The Spartans go into the outing with a record of 0-2.

The Blue Steel now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bronx High School of Science for a PSAL Bronx - A outing on Tuesday, October 9. Columbus will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Francis Lewis (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 17-4.
