Connecticut High School Volleyball - New Britain can't hold off Berlin
October 24, 2012: New Britain, CT 06051 The New Britain Golden Hurricanes volleyball team (New Britain, CT), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT)
The Redcoats (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainville (Plainville, CT). The Blue Devils come into the Central Connecticut - South challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Plainville was edged by Bristol Central (Bristol, CT), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Golden Hurricanes encounter the Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - West challenge, on Friday, October 26. New Britain will attempt to move on its 9-8 season record. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Conard (West Hartford, CT).
